Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6924017.

Cones all over the motorway, no-one working. 50 mph speed limit for ever. For the love of god find a better way.

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways regarding the redundant traffic management equipment.

    We will arrange for one of our local inspectors to investigate this. Where we have identified redundant equipment, this will be removed.

    However, in some cases we do leave items in place for future use.

    Please Note: Most road schemes are suspended over the Christmas period and will resume early in the new year.

    Carriageway - Reconstruction / Repair - M1 Junction 8 northbound resumes on the 8 January 2025.
