    Wild animals, lying off the carriageway, on verges or the central reservation, are normally left to naturally decay unless they are a particular hazard, a danger to public health or there is a statutory obligation for testing or removal.

    We'll arrange for the deer to moved into the verge; marker post 163/5 nearside eastbound lane.

    The removal of dead animals from the side of trunk roads is the responsibility of the local authority.
