Dead fox and a deer. They've been there for a couple of weeks!

The dead animals are on the Cheltenham bound carriageway on the stretch between the bridges that cross over the bypass.

    Wild animals, lying off the carriageway, on verges or the central reservation, are normally left to naturally decay unless they are a particular hazard, a danger to public health or there is a statutory obligation for testing or removal.

    Our local inspector team will make these assessments during their regular safety inspections.

    The removal of dead animals from the side of trunk roads is the responsibility of the local authority.
