Road works ahead sign obscures road direction sign.

The M4 west sign at the exit from the roundabout is partially obscured by the large road works ahead sign. At an unfamiliar roundabout, being able to quickly and easily see signage in order to smoothly navigate a junction, without causing unnecessary frustration to oneself or others, is essential. This kind of confusion could have led to an incident or accident.

We have only been here once so I don't know how long it has been like this.

I am frequently amazed by this kind of lack of thinking with the placing of temporary roads signs and wonder who is responsible for their planning and positioning
