Electrical fault on traffic sign stanchion

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6899513.

I live on Howarth road, Rotherham S60 next to the over head sign / speed camera as you approach junction 33 southbound. There is an electrical 'crackling' noise emenating from the sign area. This was really noticeable last night and continued this us morning, I can hear it from outside my house.

    In the meantime, our team has remotely checked the status of our technology which is showing as operating correctly at this location.

    We are aware of nearby overhead power lines which may emit a crackling sound.
