Dangerous road surface

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6891023.

When are you going to properly address this road? The section for Thorney to Guyhirn is in such a terrible condition that has gradually been getting worse. You have only repaired a very small number of these defects. The worst section is after Thorney Toll, for around 2/3 miles there are large cracks in the road, particularly Eastbound side. These are impossible to avoid.

Merry Christmas National Highways you incompetent, useless organisation.

    Please note: The A47 from Guyhirn to New Cut Roundabout is to be resurfaced as soon as the necessary planning and permissions are in place (early 2025).

    Although we always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, timescales do vary as we try to minimise disruption to customers by combining activities into single closures and always ensuring the safety of our people.
