2 x Potholes

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6879142.

1 x pothole approx 300mm diameter x 80mm deep forming on left-hand side of lane 1, westbound A30, approx 30 metres after Plusha junction.

1 x pothole approx 150mm diameter x 50mm deep forming on left-hand side of lane 1, westbound A30, approx 50 metres after Plusha junction.

Both potholes are just before the newly resurfaced section of the carriageway.

    We carry out frequent safety patrols to monitor the condition of the road. Any potholes or defects we find are recorded. Repairs are then prioritised based on the severity of the defect. We know that a damaged road surface can, on occasion, be potentially dangerous and we’ve processes in place to ensure any hazardous defects are repaired quickly.
