Traffic lights cabinet is open

Reported via mobile in the Traffic lights (NH) category anonymously at 22:42, Mon 16 December 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6870362.

Since 08 December or earlier, a cabinet at Two Mills (CH66 9PD) has been open and inside the cabinet there is a live electrical supply with lights showing. I’m guessing this is the power supply for the traffic lights.

I reported the issue to the CWAC emergency line on Sunday 08 December and they advised me they would pass it to you, but the cabinet is still open to this day and could very easily be vandalised or damaged by bad weather. The weekend I reported this to CWAC was around the time we had the storm.

The cabinet door is swinging in the wind and inside the cabinet there is a smaller door in the top left corner with an electric warning triangle sign.
