Lane Markings

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6859633.

The lane markings on the A483 post House Roundabout Southside of the roundabout on the north carriageway are no existent. There are 4 lanes on the approach to the roundabout and with the markings missing it can be quite dangerous for vehicle drivers when entering this area particularly to vehicle drivers who are not familiar with this roundabout. This was reported to National Highways England in the first instance who directed me to Traffic Wales and Traffic Wales advised me that National Highways are responsable for any maintenance work required on this roundabout as it is in England

    We’re currently in the design phase of completing a scheme in this location in spring 2025. The scheme will aim to address the concerns raised in your report along with other safety critical defects in this location.

    Although we always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, timescales do vary as we try to minimise disruption to customers by combining activities into single closures and always ensuring the safety of our people.
