    We're currently engaged in the delivery of the second Road Investment Strategy (2020-2025) with a commitment to deliver significant investment to improve the Strategic Road Network in the north-east. We've recently completed capacity enhancements between A1 Scotswood and North Brunton and we're currently delivering similar capacity enhancements between A1 Birtley and Coal House. We're also continuing to develop and deliver a comprehensive programme of network renewals and upgrades. Your feedback has been passed to the relevant department for consideration.
