  • Thank you for your email of 12 December 2024 about the traffic lights on the junction of the A19 and A189 being stuck on red. We understand your concerns and appreciate you taking the time to contact us about the issue.

    We’ve checked with our traffic signal specialist and can confirm the signals are cycling as they should be. Engineers were on site on 9 December 2024 due to lamp faults, so it is possible that it appeared as the red light being stuck because of this.
