Boundary fence damaged

Reported via desktop in the Structures (eg bridges, fencing, noise barriers) (NH) category anonymously at 12:57, Wed 11 December 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6849183.

Good morning, I'm contacting you from Devon and Cornwall Police (our ref log 290 of 11/12/2024). I attended the location A30 Westbound by marker 47/6 following a report of goats on the verge. When I attended there were indeed goats on the verge stood by the carriageway. They were ushered back through the fence into the adjacent field. The fence was damaged in several places. I've tried to replace missing fence pieces but the fence will need repairing to prevent continued escape of livestock. We are not able to trace the user of the field unfortunately.
