Large pothole

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6832424.

There is a large pothole now about 2 meters in width and is about 20-30cm the other way. This is located on the exit of the bp petrol station and McDonald’s exit that touches onto the a2. It is about 20 cm deep as well and most people get stuck in the hole. Needs filling in. Numerous people have reported this over the years and it’s not fixing its self and only getting much bigger. Can someone look into it and find out what is happening with it please

    Our team visited this location on 10 December 2024 and no emergency safety defects were identified.

    However, the surface is failing and a job has been raised for this to be resurfaced within the next 6 months. We will continue to monitor the area during our regular inspections. Should any safety defects arise, then we’ll arrange the necessary remedial work if required.
