Fencing panels and posts damaged

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6828536.

Sections of the fence have been damaged by the ivy growing from the ditch and/or verge on the A120 side of that fencing - it is mostly a mass of ivy/vegetation that you see from the A120. Whilst not an immediate danger, it is a serious risk that is likely to cause harm. This has been steadily worsening over a few years.

  • Thank you for making your report regarding the overgrown vegetation on the A120. We have asked our inspection team to attend this location and assess the issue.

    If any work is needed, they will arrange for this to happen.

    Although we always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, timescales do vary as we try to minimise disruption to customers by combining activities into single closures and always ensuring the safety of our people.
