Roundabout markings, A683 M6 north/ Halton

Reported via mobile in the Faded / Hard to see (NH) category anonymously at 11:09, Mon 2 December 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6808746.

There is something wrong with the markings on the approach to this roundabout. Twice in the last week while leaving Lancaster on the A683 headed for the M6 north in the RH lane then indicating left on joining the roundabout to pick up the shorter M6 access slip road, I’ve had someone coming from my left cut across my bows heading for Halton. I can only assume that in some way they think they have right of way. Never having travelled their route, I’m unsure of the signage and markings they see. This is an accident waiting to happen, and I would suggest needs your urgent attention. Best regards Jim
