Deceased cat on left side carriageway

Was there a tortoiseshell cat collected today from the edge of the westbound carriageway towards bury st edmunds. It was there at 7.45 this morning

    Safety is our highest priority and any animals on the carriage way that pose a risk to vehicles and their occupants will be removed as quickly and safely as possible.

    Household pets, such as a dogs and cats, will be retrieved, and we endeavour to reunite pets with their owners if they can be identified through microchips or other identification.

    At present we have no record of a cat being retrieved from this location however we have passed this enquiry on to our local inspector team will investigate further.
