Flooding and aquaplaning

Reported via mobile in the Flooding/drainage (NH) category anonymously at 19:32, Sun 24 November 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6778246.

Flood water is consistently seen on the A38 between Buckfastleigh, Rattery and beyond. Today it was deep, even in the middle of the road - causing full coverage of windscreens, water being splashed onto oncoming vehicles and some vehicles seen to aquaplane. There was no warning or support in these extremely treacherous conditions. This is an accident waiting to happen - please look into this.
