Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6761819.
On the westbound stretch of motorway between where the B4192 bridge crosses the M4 and Junction 15, there are numerous incredibly dangerous potholes and damaged sections of carriageway, predominantly in the nearside lane. It is only a matter of time until one of these causes a serious accident with all the cars that are having to swerve to avoid these. Cars and even trucks are actively not using this lane as it is such a clear hazard. This in turn is inhibiting the flow of traffic on the motorway and creating a separate hazard. Not only this, but they are incredibly detrimental to vehicles and will lead to shorter lifetimes on parts. There have been multiple reports, across several months now, concerning this stretch of road that have not been addressed, so please resolve the issue before they cause an accident.

Lane 1 Westbound on the M4 for approximately 1 mile prior to Jct 15 after the B4192 Bridge is littered with potholes and shows signs of further potholes emerging. Traffic actively avoids Lane 1 restricting the flow of traffic in Lanes 2 & 3

Massive hold southbound M5 before junction 15 nearside lane, damage to vehicle caused blow out in tyre. This would kill a motorcycle rider if they hit this hole.
