Large stretch of lighting not working on A2 on Pepper Hill

  • Thank you for your report.

    We’re aware that multiple lights aren’t working along the A2 west and M2. Unfortunately, there are numerous defects that have been identified along this route including issues with some of the substations and cabling.

    We also have a national LED light replacement scheme ongoing which will look at replacing some of the lights on the A2 and M2.

    Although we don’t currently have a time frame on when all these will be fixed, we hope resolve them over the coming winter months as soon as it's possible.

    Whilst we always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, timescales can vary depending on the complexity of work required to rectify the issue.
