Badly timed lights

Reported via iOS in the Traffic lights (NH) category by Samuel Dawson at 07:56, Tue 12 November 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6721062.

Traffic is queuing badly on the m1 at junction 14 southbound of the m1. The traffic lights at the slip road, roundabout over the m1 and the A509 into Milton Keynes are all mistimed, this results in bad dangerous traffic. Some of the near misses I have seen here are scary. The ques are around 2-3 miles long of stationary traffic but this is a bad pile up in the making. I will keep posting this until this is resolved as highways have emailed me previously to acknowledge the problem, but shirk responsibility and blame Milton Keynes council, who have been contacted but also do not care.
