There are remotely controlled temporary traffic management signs mounted in the central reserve on the M4 (J18-19) and M5 (J15-18a) around Bristol that are broken, but appear to be still drawing power (as flashing). They do not appear to have been used for years and a hazard should an errant vehicle hit the central reserve. Why are they still in place?

Thank you for making your report. We've asked our inspection team to attend this location and assess the issue.
If any work is needed, they'll arrange for this to happen. Should no immediate work be required we'll continue to monitor this during our regular inspections.
