Critical build up of traffic

Reported via desktop in the Traffic lights (NH) category anonymously at 18:32, Tue 29 October 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6673191.

Due to the lack of traffic lights for traffic merging from the B4008 to the Quedgeley Interchange, there is a critical build up of traffic approaching the junction. Journey times from the Stonehouse road T junction to the Quedgeley Interchange are around 15 to 30 minutes. This is due to the significant increase in traffic from the newly developed Stonehouse industrial estate. There is an urgent need for lights to be installed at this junction to reduce journey times to an acceptable level.
