“Buses only” signs damaged and obscured

Reported via mobile in the Damage to Sign (NH) category anonymously at 09:32, Tue 29 October 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6670427.

There are 2 “buses only” signs on this access road which feeds onto the northbound A5103. Both signs are defaced and pulled out of position. This bus lane is used illegally as a “rat run” by cars and vans to gain access to the A5103. There is clear signage on Willenhall Road showing no access for cars but this is ignored on a daily basis and the “buses only” signs appear to have been vandalised over 12 months ago. This is now a dangerous road for cyclists and pedestrians due to the volume of unauthorised cars using it for illegal access to the A5103. I reported this to you 3 months ago but no action has been taken by National Highways to either repair or replace the damaged signage. This is a very poor service from a government agency with responsibility for road safety.
