Road surface between J8 & 10

Reported via mobile in the Road surface (NH) category anonymously at 09:29, Tue 29 October 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6670403.

The surface is more of a series of concrete slabs as opposed to tarmac. With wear and tear, huge grooves have opened up in lane 1. This causes congestion and poor driving/road rage as drivers refuse to use lane 1. I was driving along on Sunday evening and if my wheels went in to the grooves, it caused my vehicle to swerve as the wheels got caught in the grooves. The surface has been poor for many years, but is currently extremely poor on the Bravo between J10 and Cobham services and on the Alpha between J9 and Cobham services. Its getting to the point where it could cause a collision.
