Blocked culvert surcharging into subway

Reported via desktop in the Flooding/drainage (NH) category anonymously at 16:30, Mon 28 October 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6668491.

A member of the public has reported sewage leak at this location. United Utilities have investigated and determined that it is not sewage but rather is stemming from a blocked culvert under the motorway subway which is then surcharging to the south of the M67 thereby flooding the subway and paths leading to it. United Utilities have already determined that the culvert in question is not their asset and appears to have been routed under the M67 subway. It is presumed therefore that it is a National Highways asset.

This was previously reported on Wednesday 21 August 2024 - FixMyStreet ref: 6382709 and on Friday 18 October 2024 - FixMyStreet ref: 6630965
