Traffic lights on slip road not working

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6656155.

Traffic lights on slip road J62 not working apparently following an incident 22/10. No evidence of anyone working to fix this. Causing extreme danger on the carriageway with tailbacks. Even worse danger having to pull out onto a 3 lane 50 mph road. You must have a duty of care to keep people safe?

  • Thank you for your report about the faulty traffic signals at Carville junction on the A1(M).

    We are aware of the issue and are working on fixing it. In the meantime, we are going to set up temporary traffic signals to alleviate the congestion at the junction. Kind Regards
