Blocked or overflowing drain

Reported via mobile in the Flooding/drainage (NH) category anonymously at 16:29, Sat 19 October 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6634214.

On Monday 14th October after heavy rain the area ( north side of the pedestrian A27 bridge) was impassable as the drain was overflowing and the whole area was flooded. I had to walk through the flood on my way to the hospital and therefore this has implications for health and safety/infection control. It was up to my ankles. This was the third this has happened in the last year. I was unable to take photos as this was at 6.15am and the for very dark. There is no way to avoid this section of pavement.
