M27 juntion 7

Reported via mobile in the Road surface (NH) category anonymously at 17:40, Thu 17 October 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6628737.

Why has junction 7 closed as the road surface was fine and had no issues. I don't understand why when resurfacing M27 just do 2 lanes and then start on the junction 7. Would it not make sense to finish resurfacing the rest of the lanes of the M27 and reopen the M27 motorway so traffic can flow better. Than now traffic waiting in traffic for more than an hour. Just a note new Surface of M27 towards junction 8 is bumpy and the join on the bridge has a ramp where new surface meets old surface and has not been properly levelled to a flat surface.
