Part time traffic lights not working

Reported via desktop in the Traffic lights (NH) category anonymously at 13:48, Wed 9 October 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6571116.

I reported this earlier to Norfolk County Council, however, they tell me this set of traffic lights falls under National Highways responsibility.

There is a set of part time traffic lights at the junction of Mattishall Road and the roundabout on the A47 which were introduced after the formation of the roundabout to discourage traffic leaving the A47 to jump the queue at the roundabout at peak times. Drivers along the A47 realised that they would have priority over Norwich bound traffic when they join at Honingham roundabout. There has been an increase in the volume of traffic through the village as I presume regular drivers along the A47 have realised the part time signals are not working, so I presume they have not now been working for some time. They certainly were not working at 8:25am this morning.
