Ridges across the whole width of the carriageway between jct 11 and M6

Reported via mobile in the Road surface (NH) category anonymously at 15:20, Sunday 6 October 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6557900.

The carriageway has a sign that indicates uneven surface. However there are now sharp, deep ridges that have emerged in the road. I drive an SUV with a good level of suspension to take bumps, the car jolts going over them. The issue has been present for the last few years but is now getting worse. It is causing costly damage to cars that use the route daily. Can this be resurfaced? As small cars and motorcyclists are at a significant risk in the upcoming cold weather e.g. black ice
