Traffic lights broken

Reported via desktop in the Traffic lights (NH) category anonymously at 14:42, Saturday 5 October 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6555058.

Two of the three traffic lights on the pedestrian crossing covering the exit lane from the A27 eastbound carriageway, entering Leon's Farm retail park, are not working. The lights and the pedestrian crossing buttons are not working at all. Only one signal column is working and the crossing request button is permanently illuminated here. These lights are not just a pedestrian crossing, they also stop traffic when it is a change of priorities at the cross roads so all the lighting columns need to be working as it can be difficult to see whether the one working traffic signal is red or green.
