Needs signage

Motorists are using the emergency access/escape route to exit the motorway. There is no signage at the gate and the gate is always open.

  • Thank you for contacting us via FixMyStreet on 5 October 2024 to report the signage for the Cowick depot on the M62. We appreciate the time you’ve taken to contact us.

    We can advise the warning sign for the Cowick deport gate has recently been struck, therefore is no longer in situ. This signage is due to be repaired next month.

    The gate is used regularly for access by our workforce so it’s likely you will see those working using the gate.
