No lights working at all on over 1 mile stretch of this road. it is pitch black dangerous and someone is going ro get killed. york street to port of dover over a year now

We're aware that there are a few odd lights that haven't been working for a while, and these lights will be replaced within a future LED light replacement scheme.
Currently there is a longer section of Townwall Street (A20) that has been isolated and switched off as a safety precaution whilst excavating work is conducted at this location. At present, we can't confirm a date of when the street lighting will be restored until the work is completed, and we've been advised it's safe to do so.
