Large depression in road surface extending into lane 1.

Reported via desktop in the Road surface (NH) category anonymously at 10:20, Mon 30 September 2024

Sent to National Highways 13 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 6532180.

There is a large depression extending from the hard shoulder into lane 1 causing cars and wagons to bounce when they pass over it. It appears to be more like a sinkhole as the tarmac does not appear to be damaged as it would be for a pot hole. This has recently been repaired in 2024 but it is coming back fast and requires further, more in-depth investigations quickly before it causes an accident. The location is just past the off slip road for Junction 14 (Chester Services) when heading towards Manchester.
