Roadwork contractors installed 2 way traffic lights on a 3-way junciton

Reported via mobile in the Traffic lights (NH) category by James Crawley at 08:04, Sun 29 September 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6528323.

The junction of Brooklands Rd & A259 is normally a three way traffic signal controlled junction. Roadwork contractors have installed two way traffic lights, with just a pedestrian crossing on the Brooklands rd side. This means that traffic cannot safely exit Brooklands rd. This is causing major delays and has already led to one RTC. There is no work being doing on the roadworks over the weekend period, these lights could easily be removed.
