Overgrown tree/hedges blocking street light - A36

This is quite tall and blocking the street light. It's causing a lot of difficulty and danger for residents as its black at night and there's no light in the area. Please could you take a look? The owner of the field/hedgerows doesn't seem to be maintaining this vegetation and it's causing a lot of difficulty. Please could you take a look?

Updates

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways concerning overgrown vegetation.

We carry out regular inspections of all our routes and cut the vegetation back where we find that it is limiting visibility of road signs or other traffic. Your concerns have been passed to our maintenance team. They’ll inspect the area shortly and, if necessary, arrange for vegetation to be cut.

If you require any further information please contact our Customer Contact Centre on 0300 123 5000 or info@nationalhighways.co.uk.
