Blocked Drain/Flooding

Reported via desktop in the Pavement/footpath issue (NH) category by Martin Barnwell at 16:09, Tuesday 24 September 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6510827.

Mud is washing down from the bank and into the underpass. This is blocking the drain and making the underpass impassable to and dangerous for pedestrians.

Trees have recently been removed from the bank during installation of electrical works and this has substantially increased the volume of mud coming into the underpass when it rains.

We (Northampton Bike Park) have cleared the blockage but it will block up again when it rains.
