When joining the m40 at this location there are little metal studs which i believe are called cats eyes which are dangerously protruding above the surface level

Between the line markings there are little metal studs which i believe are called cats eyes which are dangerously protruding above the surface level caused a tyre to pop. due to where I was I wasn't able to stop exactly where it had happend and tqke picturew due to my own personal safety.
