Damage to surface drain or road joint

Reported via desktop in the Flooding/drainage (NH) category anonymously at 10:43, Sun 22 September 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6499152.

Water is seeping from the above A38 to the road below on the Marsh Mills roundabout - the flow, fast at times of heavy rain, falls onto the traffic lane dedicated to the local supermarket lane - car drivers can be distracted by the flow onto their windscreen, two wheel users have a continual flow of water onto them - have personally seen some car drivers taking avoiding action, turning towards the right hand lane in an attempt to avoid the water flow. This fault has been occurring for at least 12 months - with winter approaching it can only get worse.
