Fence damage
Reported via desktop in the Structures (eg bridges, fencing, noise barriers) (NH) category anonymously at 09:50, Sat 14 September 2024

The fence is damaged and instead of fixing it you have closed a lane unnecessarily and have taken to just sitting a flatbed van in the lane that is doing no actual work. The lane closure is causing significant delays and congestion. If the safety issue is such a concern this should be being dealt with urgently.

It still hasn't been fixed and it's causing delays on the road and also increasing congestion on A1237 as well. Instead of causing traffic congestion you could've provided a temporary fix while waiting for whatever you're waiting.

Still not fixed this Is absolutely ludicrous to expect the citizens of York to just wait while traffic had increased throughout all of York and surrounding areas what's wrong with a temporary fix and then closing rhe lane on an evening for hre pemrentant fix?? Very poor planning from management on this one and it will be followed up with MP correspondence.
