Light obscured by tree

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6467329.

Red light covered by tree branch at pedestrian crossing near Atha Gym. Witnessed car jumping the lights as pedestrians try to cross because light is obscured. Risk to life.

    Our team visited this location on 26 September 2024 and no emergency safety defects were identified.

    Whilst the tree branches aren't completely blocking the lights, our team have raised a job to remove the branches as soon as it’s possible.

    We will continue to monitor the area during our regular inspections. Should any safety defects arise on our section of the network, then we’ll arrange the necessary remedial work if required.
