Lights stick on red

Reported via mobile in the Traffic lights (NH) category anonymously at 21:03, Thursday 12 September 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6466739.

The lights stick on red for traffic leaving Harwich westbound to join the A120. This has been reported four times, all now marked Closed, but the problem persists. It is obviously intermittent but it is still dangerous as people are jumping the lights. Please investigate properly and do not simply mark this as Closed.

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways.

It appears that the issue you are reporting has been reported already.

The Fix-my-Street platform is purely a reporting tool for defects. The report is then passed to the inspection / maintenance team for investigation.

Once this report has been passed the system automatically closes the entry. This does not mean that we are not investigating or resolving the issue purely that it has been passed to the team dealing with the issue.

Thank you again for taking the time to highlight this issue to us.

    Kind regards National Highways
