Still not possible to walk along the pavement

Reported via mobile in the Pavement/footpath issue (NH) category anonymously at 20:24, Wednesday 11 September 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6462837.

Not sure why the last report was closed, the hedge has not suddenly disappeared and it is still very dangerous to walk along the pavement It’s covering nearly the whole pavement, the road itself is 40 mph with much of the traffic and lorries doing more! It’s horrible trying to walk along there with a small child and or a pushchair let alone as an adult. There are places where you nearly have to step into the road! It should be relatively simple to go along with a hedge cutter especially as the road has been closed numerous times over the last few weeks for surveying and drainage! Walking along at night is even worse as obviously no streetlights either!
