Graffiti on highway sign

Reported via mobile in the Graffiti (NH) category anonymously at 14:46, Tue 10 September 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6457890.

Grafitti on sign on the highway for Shoreham, Brighton etc. It looks a right mess! The graffiti also continues when you exit on the slip road for the Holmbush centre.

Updates

  • Thank you for making your report.

We're aware of the additional graffiti to the gantry and a works order has been raised to arrange it's removal.

Due to it's location in addition to measures, such as mobile elevating work platforms allowing us to reach any graffiti at height we will need to carry out removal works under a road closure to ensure the safety of our customers and workforce.

As I hope you can appreciate, this can be very disruptive to road users and can take some time.

    Kind regards

    National Highways
