Conflicting Speed Signs
Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6414688.
First bridge states variable speed limit at 50mph. Second bridge doesn’t have any speed limit so drivers go back to 70mph (as per car satnav and Waze too). Third bridge states 50mph with a speed camera directly after. Speed camera was flashing most drivers, some travelling at 50mph and some trying to slow down from 70mph to follow the gantry sign. It’s extremely misleading. I can’t be the only one with huge concerns about receiving a speeding ticket in the next few weeks.
