Vegetation and detritus blocking half of shared use cycle track

Reported via desktop in the Overgrown or obscuring view (NH) category anonymously at 15:14, Fri 23 August 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6391245.

The vegetation that is growing from the left hand side of the shared use footway is blocking half the area to be used and causing a significant safety issue for users. detritus has been allowed to develop on the surface again reducing the width down to half of what should be available. A previous report submitted by another individual was closed as showing no defects but this is clearly incorrect and needs to be rectified. I have images of this issue of low hanging branches that fall below the permitted 2.4m from surface height and strike users as they pass through. Action needs to be taken now. I have images available to show what the issues are.
