Carkeel roundabout is around seven years old but the street lights on the roundabout itself haven't worked for the last three winters.

Reported via mobile in the Not working (NH) category by Mike Finch at 13:24, Wed 21 August 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6382508.

The approach lighting works but the lighting for the roundabout itself hasn't worked for the past three winters. With apparently road closures planned for the tunnel there will be presumably traffic diversions on the roundabout similar to last year. As you approach the roundabout the lights are working but on the roundabout itself we are plunged into darkness and when there's roadworks we have traffic management to cope with.
