Footpath / cyclpath is marked as "Cyclists dismount"

Reported via desktop in the Pavement/footpath/cycleway/bridleway issue (NH) category anonymously at 20:09, Sun 18 August 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6371329.

The section of "pavement" alongside (north side) of the A453 between the cyclepath towards Redhill Marina and the connection to Long Lane is marked by signage as "Cyclists dismount". This section connects two sections of cyclepath correctly marked as for cyclists and pedestrians. There seems to be no reason for the pavement to not allow cyclists. Can it be confirmed that cycling is permitted on this section. If so, can the signage be modified to make this clear.
