Speed limit m62

The speed limit on the M62 has been dropped to 60MPH over the last few weeks with no explanation why. I join from the M6 J21A and come off at M602

    The speed limit was reduced to 60mph as a necessary safety measure. A technology fault is affecting the proper functioning of the signs between junctions 10 and 12. Reducing the speed limit to 60 mph helps to decrease the risk of accidents, while having a minimal impact on journey times.

    We’re actively investigating the cause of the fault but regret we have no timescale for a repair at this time. We appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this issue and apologise for any inconvenience.
