Massive ridges across road

Reported via mobile in the Road surface (NH) category anonymously at 00:33, Thursday 8 August 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6329946.

The road surface on the A5 southbound from the Old Stratford roundabout to the Abbey Hill roundabout is in increasingly poor condition. There are multiple large ridges across the roads (mostly at bridges) that are in dire need of attention. Several very large ridges are in urgent need of inspection and need skimming and resurfacing before the winter. It's hammering suspensions and there is no way to avoid them. Audible bangs in my car when I go over them. Approximately four different ridges and failing road surface over a mile or so, starting at the first bridge. Centreline also failing in places and surface is really worn. Please please inspect.
